Public representatives, companies and professionals involved in the technological development applied to smart, autonomous, connected and unmanned mobility will meet next October in Málaga to participate in the first edition of S-Moving, Smart, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles Forum. The conference, which has international ambitions and is pioneering on the European continent, came into being as a space in which to share the technologies and infrastructure linked to this development, with the primary objective of displaying novelties, anticipating trends and generating business opportunities and collaboration between the various agents involved. As a result, the meeting will pay special attention to innovative grassroots entrepreneurship in this field, with specific content and initiatives for emerging companies.
To this end, the forum will include an exhibition area, spaces for bilateral meetings and a programme of conferences and round tables, as well as test areas for connected vehicles and even demonstrations of drone flights and unmanned systems.
In this way, attendees will have access to the most up-to-date advances in these technologies - applied to mobility by land, sea and aerospace - not only from the point of view of their development, but also in terms of legislative adaptation and convergence with safety standards, for example. The coexistence of these systems and devices with the challenges of the 4.0 industry; artificial intelligence or big data will also be at the forefront of the event, which will also address tools for the financing of related projects and initiatives.
It should be noted that innovation and the application of new technologies to these connected and autonomous systems involves a radical transformation in the value chain of products and services of various kinds, with particular relevance for transport and logistics. Security and defence, rescue, research and the agrifood industry are other examples of sectors and productive activities where the impact of this type of mobility will be disruptive.
S-MOVING is organised by FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga) and has the involvement and support of an organising committee currently made up of leading public and private entities in the various sectors and areas of work involved. This is the case for companies such as Aertec, Accenture, ADIF, Airbus, Alstom, Atyges, Dekra, Indra and Mades, as well as institutions and organisations such as the City Council of Málaga, the Andalucia Technology Park (PTA), the IDEA Agency, the association of technological and digital companies, AMETIC; the Port Authority of Malaga -Málagaport-; the Asociación de Empresas Gestoras de los Transportes Urbanos Colectivos [Association of Management Companies of Public Urban Transport] (ATUC) and the University of Malaga (UMA).
